How to Export Your COROS Data — and What COROS Leaves Out

The short answer
COROS documents two ways to get your training data out. A single activity comes out of the phone app as FIT, GPX, TCX or KML. Your entire activity history comes out of COROS Training Hub on the web as FIT or TCX, emailed to you. That is the whole self-service story.
Everything that is not an activity — sleep, resting heart rate, overnight HRV, steps, and the EvoLab numbers built on them — is in neither export. COROS's own help page says so plainly: "Daily data like HR and steps cannot be exported from COROS currently." To get that data you open a support ticket and ask a human.
A note on where this comes from. gneta has been a Garmin-only publication until now, and we are dropping that. Our Garmin knowledge is deeper than our COROS knowledge and will stay that way for a while, so this guide is built from COROS's official documentation rather than a year of poking at the platform. Every UI step links to the support page it came from, and where COROS's pages disagree with each other, I say so.
Worth exporting for: migrating your history to TrainingPeaks or Intervals.icu, keeping a local archive before you sell the watch, handing a coach one specific race file, or doing your own analysis. That last case travels well, because FIT is a shared format rather than a Garmin-only one, and the tools that read raw FIT files work on COROS files unchanged.
The two documented export paths

Note what is missing from that table: there is no CSV option anywhere. Garmin's per-activity menu has no CSV either, but Garmin at least hands you a summary CSV off its activity list, and COROS has no equivalent. COROS states it directly on the bulk export page — "Exporting to other file types are not supported at this time." If you want a spreadsheet, you are converting FIT yourself.
Exporting a single activity from the app
This is a phone-app job, not a web job, which is the opposite of Garmin's arrangement.
Step 1. Open the COROS app, go to the Activities page, tap the activity you want.
Step 2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Step 3. Select Export Data, then choose GPX, TCX, FIT or KML.
Step 4. Send the file off the phone by email, AirDrop or whatever your phone offers.
COROS's step-by-step page for manual export shows this with screenshots, and the Ride with GPS integration page states the four-format list outright. One inconsistency worth flagging: COROS's newer Activities page article calls the same menu item Export rather than Export Data. The label has moved at least once, so look for whichever your app version shows.
On Android the file lands on the device rather than in a share sheet, at Storage > Android > data > com.yf.smart.coros.dist > files > COROS.
Which format to take
FIT unless you have a reason not to. It carries the full per-second record: heart rate, cadence, power, GPS, laps, device fields. Every other format is a lossy summary of it.
TCX keeps heart rate, cadence and GPS but not the full sensor payload. It is the fallback when a platform refuses FIT, and alongside FIT it is one of only two formats COROS will accept back in.
GPX keeps the track and drops nearly all physiology. COROS's own guidance is blunt: pick GPX "if heart rate is not included or important."
KML is a mapping format for Google Earth and similar. Fine for looking at a route in 3D, useless for training analysis.
Nothing converts upward. Export FIT, then derive the smaller formats from it if you need them.
Bulk export: your whole activity history
The full-history export lives in COROS Training Hub, the desktop web app, not in the phone app.
- Log in to Training Hub from a desktop computer.
- Click the Activity List tab at the top of the screen.
- Select Export Data on the right side of the screen.
- Choose .FIT or .TCX, and enter an email address to receive the files.
That is the entire documented procedure, from COROS's bulk export article. COROS publishes no turnaround time, no size limit and no description of the archive layout, and I am not going to invent any of those.
The mirror-image feature is better documented than the export. COROS accepts FIT and TCX back in through Activity List > Import Data, with two published bounds: files under 20 KB are rejected as empty, and any single file or ZIP over 200 MB fails. COROS even ships instructions for importing a Garmin archive, pointing you at the DI_Connect/DI-Connect-Uploaded-Files folder inside Garmin's ZIP. A watch brand writing a guide to importing its competitor's history tells you something about how it thinks about lock-in.
What does not come out
This is the section that matters, and it is where COROS is weakest.
All daily and health data. Sleep, sleep stages, resting heart rate, overnight HRV, steps, calories, stress. None of it is in an activity file or the bulk export, and COROS's export guidance says daily data "is not supported for integration or export." The documented route is a ticket: COROS app > Profile page > Customer Support > Contact Support, state your date range, accept the privacy policy, submit. COROS does not say what format the reply comes in or how long it takes.
COROS contradicts itself here, and you should know it. The TrainingPeaks integration page states that COROS syncs "your completed COROS activities, resting heart rate, HRV, and sleep data to TrainingPeaks." So daily data does leave the platform automatically, over an API, to at least one partner. It just does not leave in a file you can hold. Those two help pages cannot both be fully true as written, and I would trust the specific integration page over the general one.
EvoLab history. Training Load over time, Base Fitness, Marathon Level, threshold estimates, race predictions. COROS publishes no export path for any of it, and FIT and TCX are activity containers rather than places to store a twelve-week fitness curve. I found no official statement either way, so treat this as strongly implied, not confirmed.
Media and routes. Photos pinned to the map, voice pins, shareable links, custom photo overlays, saved routes in your Explore library. COROS documents these as sharing features, and documents no export.
If this pattern feels familiar, it should. Garmin has the same shape of gap: its bulk archive hands you raw files and drops the derived training-status history, which is the layer people most want to keep. We wrote that up in the Garmin export guide, and it is one of the structural limits of Garmin Connect rather than an oversight. Both companies export the measurements and keep the interpretation.
My opinion, stated plainly: making users file a support ticket to obtain their own sleep and HRV records is not data portability, it is a favour. COROS's own privacy policy enumerates the GDPR right to data portability under Article 20 and names support@coros.com as the route to exercise it. A right that needs a human to approve each request, in an unspecified format, on an unspecified timeline, is a button that has not been built yet. Garmin built that button. COROS should too.
Third-party sync, and which way it flows
COROS's partner list runs to 51 apps as of August 2026, including Strava, TrainingPeaks, Intervals.icu, Runalyze, Final Surge, Komoot, Stryd, HRV4Training, SportTracks and Tredict. You connect them in the app at Profile page > Settings > 3rd Party Apps > Data Sync. Direction matters more than the count:
- Strava is two-way but asymmetric. Activities go out; starred Strava routes come back into your COROS Route Library and starred segments come back as Live Segments. An optional toggle writes COROS Training Load into the Strava activity's notes field.
- TrainingPeaks is the fullest two-way link COROS has. Structured run, bike, swim and strength workouts flow in for the next seven days of your calendar; activities plus resting HR, HRV and sleep flow out.
- Final Surge is documented as two-way: workouts in, completed activities out.
- Intervals.icu and Runalyze are on the partner list, but COROS does not state the direction there, so check with those platforms rather than assuming.
Two caveats trip people up. Sync is not retroactive: TrainingPeaks documents that the COROS link "is not historical," so only activities completed after you connect will appear, and anything older has to be exported and uploaded by hand. And the number you see downstream may not be the number COROS recorded. COROS has a whole page on data discrepancies with third-party apps explaining that Strava and TrainingPeaks re-derive distance, moving time and pace with their own algorithms. COROS shows raw watch data; Strava shows Strava's opinion of it. Neither is lying, and this is a large part of why the raw file is worth more than the summary.
Programmatic access
COROS runs an OAuth 2.0 API with an open application process at api@coros.com, framed as standardised and non-discriminatory rather than a curated partner selection, citing GDPR and the EU Data Act. Individuals cannot get credentials; you forward the address to the developer of the app you want connected.
On paper that is more open than Garmin's commercial-approval route, and I want to be careful not to over-praise it. "We grant access to anyone meeting standard requirements" is a policy statement, not a measured outcome, and I have no data on how many applications clear it. What is clearly true is that COROS publishes the terms and the address.
Community tools also exist to script bulk downloads against COROS's internal endpoints. They are unofficial and unsupported, and they break when COROS changes something.
COROS versus Garmin on export alone
Ignore the watches. On data portability specifically:

COROS wins on getting data in and on how openly it publishes its API terms. Garmin wins on getting data out, mostly because its archive includes the sleep and wellness JSON that COROS makes you ask for. Neither gives you the derived layer, which is the part that took your training and turned it into a judgement about your fitness. That gap is the reason a third-party analysis layer exists at all, and it is the same argument we make about Garmin Connect alternatives. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I export COROS data as a CSV?
No. COROS states that formats beyond the ones listed are "not supported at this time." Converting a FIT file to CSV locally is the only route.
Can I export my COROS sleep and HRV data?
Not through the app or Training Hub. COROS's documented route is a support request from the app, specifying the date range you want. COROS does not publish the format or the turnaround.
Does the bulk export include my Training Load and race predictions?
COROS does not document this, and the export formats are activity containers rather than metric histories, so assume no until COROS says otherwise.
Can I move my Garmin history into COROS?
Yes, and COROS publishes a guide for it. Request Garmin's account archive, then import the FIT files from DI_Connect/DI-Connect-Uploaded-Files through Training Hub's Import Data, keeping each upload under 200 MB.
The useful test for any platform is not whether an export button exists. It is whether the thing the platform tells you about yourself survives the export. On COROS, the pace and heart rate survive; the reading of your fitness does not. That is worth knowing before you build a training decision on a number that lives only inside one company's app.
